How our rate is set
This page explains, in plain words, where the reference rate comes from, how often it refreshes, what margin Astha applies, and whether a rate is held while you complete a transfer.

Money sent through a registered channel earns the government incentive
The government pays a cash incentive on money that arrives through a registered channel — into a bank account or a licensed mobile wallet. Money sent by hundi earns none of it.
The incentive is paid by the government to the recipient in Bangladesh. It is not added by Astha, and it is never counted inside the amount the calculator says will arrive — where the calculator shows it, it is a separate line, marked as the government’s.
